The Intuitive Marriage Method
Hello and welcome to my podcast, The Intuitive Marriage Method.
I’m Amanda Pott, a certified life coach, intuitive empath, slightly witchy, 420 friendly, a lover of woo woo, singing and painting.
I created the Intuitive Marriage Method and the ~ 12 Foundations ~ to help myself stay on track with my self-worth & marriage and to help couples reconnect communicate and cultivate self love within their marriage.
I survived messy relationships, a marriage that ended in domestic violence, being a single mum of 3, staying in a shelter...but never gave up on my fairytale marriage & family dream. Now I live in Canada creating the life within my second marriage that I’ve always believed was possible with my soulmate Barry & our blended family of ten & growing.
I am not a therapist or medical professional just a sarcastic wife, mum, nana, who finds passion in helping married women find their voice embrace empowerment & build soulful playful marriages.
Stay intuitive & Stay in-love,
Amanda xo

#18 ~ Blended Families - Creating Harmony in a New Household + Daily Affirmation
Welcome Beautiful Souls to the Intuitive Marriage Podcast! I'm Amanda Pott, and today we’re talking about blending families and creating harmony in a new household. As someone who is part of a blended family of 10, which has now grown to 33 members (with a 34th on the way!), I know firsthand the joys and challenges this journey can bring. Come join us...:-)
Key Points:
- Communication is Key: Open and honest communication helps everyone feel understood and respected.
- Set Boundaries and Rules: Agree on household rules that everyone can follow to create consistency.
- Quality Time Together: Plan activities that allow everyone to bond and build strong relationships.
A Fun Recommendation: Blended the Movie:
- For a lighthearted take on the ups and downs of blended families, check out the movie Blended starring Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore. It’s funny, relatable, and perfect for a family movie night.
Quick Tips:
- Hold regular family meetings for open discussions.
- Spend time one-on-one with different family members to strengthen bonds.
- Be patient and embrace the process with love and understanding.
Conclusion:
- Blending families is a beautiful journey that takes time, patience, and a sense of humor. Remember, it’s all about creating a loving environment where everyone feels at home.
